Job summary

Arm Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Software Architect to shape how applications and developer frameworks connect to Arm's AI acceleration hardware. You will lead architecture across Arm's AI software portfolio and collaborate with hardware teams.

The role involves technical leadership, cross-team design reviews, and working with customers and ecosystem partners to translate AI models and workloads into future software and hardware requirements.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in software architecture, systems software or hardware/software co-design.
Strong knowledge of computer and system architecture, including processors and memory.
Familiarity with PyTorch, ExecuTorch, LiteRT, ONNX or ONNX Runtime.
Strong C/C++ skills and ability to engage directly with software implementations.
Excellent technical judgement for navigating complex problems.
Strong professional network across the AI, semiconductor or software ecosystem.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and collaborate with senior engineers to develop, review and approve designs.
Act as a trusted technical authority, guiding decisions across teams and boundaries.
Work across hardware and software teams to achieve effective co-design and reuse.
Collaborate with Arm's customers and ecosystem partners to understand requirements and build alignment on future technologies.
Translate emerging AI models/workloads into future software and hardware requirements.
Engage with ecosystems including PyTorch, ExecuTorch, LiteRT, ONNX and related tools.
