Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Social Work Advanced Practitioner to join the Safeguarding and Assessment Service (SAS) in Hartlepool. The role is initially for 3 months with the potential to extend and can be full-time or part-time, paying £35.68 per hour.

The successful candidate will conduct thorough assessments, provide team leadership, and collaborate with professionals to develop and implement safeguarding interventions while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and recommend appropriate action.
• Collaborate with a variety of professionals, ensuring comprehensive support for families in need.
• Provide leadership within the safeguarding team, guiding less experienced social workers in their practice.
• Develop and implement intervention plans in partnership with children, families, and other agencies.
• Maintain accurate case records and contribute to regular reviews and evaluations of safeguarding services.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements in safeguarding practices.
