Job summary

Cardiff Council seeks a registered Social Worker to join the busy Links CMHT in Adamsdown, Cardiff. This permanent, full-time role (37 hours) offers scope to work within a multi-disciplinary adult services team delivering care and treatment planning for adults with mental health conditions.

Ideal candidates will have a Social Work degree, registration with Social Care Wales, and experience in mental health settings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
• Experience of working with people with mental health difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs under the Social Services and Well-Being Act 2014.
• Experience in Care and Treatment planning in Mental Health Services.
• Undertake risk assessments and develop care plans and risk management plans.
• Provide supervision of staff where applicable.
