Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with mandatory professional registration.
• Post-qualification experience in children's services is expected.
• Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and policy frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive assessments of children and families in need.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to junior social workers and staff.
• Develop and implement person-centred care plans within legal/policy frameworks.
• Engage with families and external agencies to coordinate services.
• Maintain accurate records in line with local and national standards.
