Essex County Council is seeking a Senior Social Worker for the Physical & Sensory Impairments team, based around Chelmsford. You will work in a community-based role with a mixed office/field pattern, handling complex cases and providing expert guidance to the team.

You will require Social Work England registration, plus AMHP/BIA or Practice Educator qualifications, and a track record in Adult Social Care. A driving licence and mobility are essential for Essex locations.

Formación

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• AMHP, BIA or Practice Educator qualified.
• Proactive and passionate Social Worker with a proven record of working complex cases.
• Ability to mentor both newly-qualified and experienced team members in complex situations.
• Significant Adult Social Care experience with understanding of current legislation, regulations and guidance.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and capability of practice.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert social work guidance and mentor colleagues.
• Assess and support: manage a diverse and complex caseload and create person-centred care plans.
• Ensure compliance with Care Act requirements and organisational standards.
• Manage caseloads and provide expert social work practice in complex situations.
• Collaborate with the Council and partners to shape high-quality solutions promoting independence.
• Represent Adult Social Care by chairing multi-agency meetings.
