Senior Social Worker - Adult Social Care

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Senior Social Worker within the Adult Social Care Service to work full-time based in Wandsworth.

The salary for this permanent Senior Social Worker role is up to £52,632 per annum.

Responsibilities:

1. Be part of the management team, providing leadership and building relationships with staff and practitioners.
2. Provide regular strengths-based supervision to empower and support practitioners.
3. Promote corporate values, discuss equality, diversity, and inclusion, and challenge discrimination.
4. Conduct case file audits to support learning and identify training needs.
5. Assist with budget management, ensuring timely and effective completion of work steps.
6. Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities under relevant legislation.
7. Encourage a positive attitude to risk and a no-blame culture, supporting innovation.
8. Communicate departmental vision and priorities clearly.
9. Support practitioners in building confidence and skills, acting as a coach/mentor.
10. Understand and apply duties related to safeguarding children, young people, and adults.

Requirements:

• A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
