Social Worker Position

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work in partnership with children and families to address their social, emotional, and environmental needs.
• Assess risks and needs for vulnerable children and deliver services to improve their quality of life.
• Coordinate services to achieve the best outcomes for children, young people, and their families or carers, ensuring the appropriate use of resources.

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree
• Current Social Work England Registration
• Significant experience working with children and families
• Post-qualifying experience as a Social Worker
• Knowledge of child abuse, its manifestations, causes, and consequences
• Knowledge of child protection practices and procedures
• Skills in direct work with children, including those who may have been abused
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or willingness to complete one
