Opus People Solutions, on behalf of Shropshire Council, has an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities Team.

Job Title: Social Worker
Length of assignment: 3 Months
Hours per week: Part Time, 1-2 days per week
Hourly rate: GBP 33.30
Location: Shropshire

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and provide social work services, appropriate for a professionally qualified post, to children with complex disabilities and their families to ensure their welfare is safeguarded and protected according to legal and statutory obligations.
• Undertake social work tasks such as visits, assessments, planning, and reviews for children in need, children under protection, and children in care.
• Manage a small caseload.
