Senior Social Worker – Child Protection Team – Ipswich (UK) – £34-37 Hourly – Ongoing

The position focuses on addressing and mitigating harmful sexual behaviour concerns among children and young people. What you will do:

– Provide expert consultations, advice, assessments, and interventions to professionals dealing with a child’s sexual behaviour.
– Engage in threshold discussions with the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) regarding harmful sexual behaviours.
– Collaborate with social workers or lead professionals to execute direct work with children or young people exhibiting ongoing harmful behaviour concerns.
– Conduct AIM 3 assessments, if necessary, to determine the level of intervention required for each case.
– Deliver presentations and awareness sessions across the county, including to foster carers, the University of Suffolk, and local schools.

Staff are expected to be based in the office for a minimum of 40% of their working week to support team collaboration, supervision, and service delivery requirements
