Job summary

IMA, a creative agency, is seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to lead social media strategies and campaigns for leading brands. You will collaborate with clients, account teams, strategists, creatives, designers, producers and external partners to translate business goals into engaging social-first work.

Qualifications

• Senior social media/content, digital marketing or communications experience, ideally in a creative/advertising/integrated agency.
• Strong platform knowledge, content formats, publishing tools, community engagement and social-first principles.
• Turn business goals into social strategies, content plans and campaign recommendations.
• Strong social content instincts; write compelling copy; shape ideas; give constructive creative feedback.
• Highly organised; manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, approvals and stakeholders in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Social Strategy: Develop clear, insight-led social media strategies that support client objectives, brand positioning and campaign goals.
• Content Planning: Create and manage social media calendars, content pillars and channel plans across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Creative Development: Write and edit engaging social copy, develop creative concepts and provide clear direction for designers, creators, editors and production teams.
• Campaign Delivery: Lead social campaigns from initial brief and planning through to production, approval, publishing and optimisation.
• Community and Engagement: Support social listening, community management and audience engagement, ensuring responses are timely, appropriate and aligned with brand tone of voice.
• Performance and Reporting: Monitor social media performance, analyse results and turn data into clear insights, recommendations and actions for ongoing improvement.
