Job Description

The Role

Arm’s Systems Development team develops subsystems and SoC designs for various applications, utilizing the latest IP products from Arm and other vendors. We seek creative and enthusiastic SoC Verification Engineers to join our team. The role involves verifying and testing sophisticated IP such as CPU/GPU/DSP processors with memory controllers and interconnect fabrics, ensuring they work effectively with software to enable outstanding systems for our partners.

Responsibilities

• Developing test plans, defining test methodologies, and completing functional verification to meet quality and schedule requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including architecture, design, implementation, modeling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments.
• Knowledge of assembly language (preferably ARM), C/C++, hardware verification languages (SystemVerilog), and shell scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python).
• Experience with verification methodologies such as UVM, formal verification, low power, or emulation.
• Exposure to all verification stages: requirements, test plans, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation, and support.
• Practical experience working on processor-based system designs.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Understanding of Arm system architectures.
• Knowledge of machine learning, neural networks, automotive, or computer vision applications.
• Experience with power-aware design and clock domain crossing.
• Experience with embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessors, and embedded hardware architectures.
• Verification experience with subsystems like PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet.
• Experience in developing and deploying large SoCs on emulation platforms.
• Leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience in technical teams.
