Job summary

N Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Senior SOC / IR Specialist to join London-based operations under a contract. You will perform day-to-day SOC tasks, threat detection, triage, and incident response in real time.

The role emphasizes automation, workflow development using AI tooling, and proactive investigations. Collaboration with SOC teams to monitor environments using Splunk and new 7AI platforms will be key.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SOC operations and incident response.
• Hands on expertise in at least two areas: MacOS endpoints, Linux OS in cloud environments, microservices & containerized environments, AI tooling for SOC automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational SOC support with a focus on real-time threat detection, triage, and incident response.
• Lead and manage incident response activities across diverse environments.
• Develop and implement automation workflows and scripts using AI tooling to enhance SOC triage and response efficiency.
• Contribute to detection engineering, threat hunting, and proactive investigations while maintaining focus on operational SOC duties.
• Collaborate with SOC teams to ensure effective monitoring and response using Splunk and 7AI platforms.
