Job summary

Anson McCade Pty is recruiting an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join a growing security architecture team. You will design, implement and validate robust security architectures across enterprise IT and OT environments, embedding security throughout the lifecycle and ensuring resilience and compliance.

You will work with technical and solution architects, information assurance and testing teams to translate threats into architectural controls and provide specialist guidance on

Qualifications

• Experience in threat modelling and security risk assessment.
• Translate security threats into practical security requirements and architectural controls.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS).
• Understanding of protective monitoring, authentication and authorisation principles.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop secure architectures for complex enterprise IT and OT environments.
• Collaborate with architects to integrate security into designs and transformation programmes.
• Conduct threat modelling to identify vulnerabilities and define security requirements.
• Manage security requirements throughout delivery and operations lifecycle.
• Provide specialist advice on risk-based mitigation and secure system design.
• Apply security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO, CIS).
• Advise on protective monitoring, identity management and access controls.
• Collaborate with assurance and testing teams to validate controls and identify improvements.
• Build strong relationships with technical teams, stakeholders and clients.
