Job summary

Sopra Steria Limited is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to join our Cyber Security team in Farnborough, contributing to the protection of critical client environments. You will monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents, and help evolve detection, threat intel and response playbooks.

In this role you will work on MITRE ATT&CK-aligned detections, use Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk, and partner with colleagues to elevate SOC maturity while adhering to DSC/DV clearance requirements where

Qualifications

• Experience in Security Operations Centre environments.
• Knowledge of threat detection and incident response.
• Understanding of security monitoring and alert triage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage and investigate security incidents across client environments.
• Analyze network traffic, logs and events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Lead and support incident response activities and containment.
• Develop and refine detection rules and use cases using MITRE ATT&CK.
• Support threat intel activities and continuous SOC improvement.
