Responsibilities include monitoring, leading incident response, tuning detectors, mentoring junior analysts and producing stakeholder reports. Hybrid work and a strong budget for learning and development accompany equity in the business.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on SOC experience, including detection and incident response.
• Strong working knowledge of SIEM platforms and log analysis.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and applying it in practice.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate and triage security alerts across the SIEM, escalating genuine threats and closing false positives.
• Lead incident response for confirmed security events from detection to containment and post-incident review.
• Tune detection rules and correlation logic to sharpen SOC performance.
• Mentor junior analysts and help shape SOC processes as headcount grows.
• Produce clear, timely reporting for stakeholders on risk.
