Job summary

SecurityHQ Ltd. is seeking a Security Analyst L1 to join our SOC team in the UK. Whether you are a recent graduate or have 1–2 years in a SOC or related cyber environment, you’ll monitor and investigate threats to protect our customers.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and network security tools, while developing incident response and investigative skills. The role is hybrid, with three days per week at our Blackfriars office in London.

Qualifications

• Passion for cyber security with willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of SIEM/EDR and threat concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
• Solid networking fundamentals and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts across SIEM/EDR and endpoints.
• Investigate and triage potential threats.
• Analyze logs and network traffic for anomalies.
• Support incident response, containment and recovery.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior analysts.
• Produce incident reports and customer updates.
• Communicate findings clearly to customers.
• Collaborate with peers to resolve incidents.
