Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Small Works Manager to join the Home Office contract delivery team. The role focuses on cradle-to-grave delivery of small works, lifecycle and capital projects across the North of England, with regular travel required.

You will lead M&E, building fabric, roofing and specialist works, ensure CDM compliance, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, on-time projects within budget and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience delivering small works and construction projects.
• Strong client, contractor and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Experience with CDM Regulations and the RIBA Plan of Work.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of small works, lifecycle and capital projects across the North of England.
• Develop and manage project programmes and coordinate delivery.
• Coordinate delivery through an approved and accredited supply chain.
• Deliver projects across M&E systems, building fabric, roofing and planned infrastructure replacement.
• Manage client relationships, resolve issues and promote a collaborative, one-team approach.
• Prepare and control Construction Phase Plans, health and safety documentation and project variations.
