Job summary

Children and Family Health Devon invites applications for a senior leadership role in Speech and Language Therapy. The post leads the SLT pathway, shaping service development and ensuring high-quality, integrated care for children and families across Devon and Torbay.

The successful candidate will work with the Head of Service and CFHD leadership, driving professional development, safeguarding, and evidence-based practice across multiple pathways.

Qualifications

• Passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist with strong clinical expertise.
• Proven track record of clinical and professional leadership.
• Ability to inspire, support and develop a diverse workforce.
• Commitment to innovation, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Experience of working across health, education, social care and voluntary sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Speech, Language and Communication pathway across Devon and Torbay to ensure high-quality, safe services.
• Provide professional and clinical leadership for Speech and Language Therapists across CFHD pathways.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to deliver integrated care for children and families.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and supervision aligned with CFHD transformation and Experts at Hand implementation.
