Job summary

City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd is seeking a Senior Site Technician to lead delivery and supervision of planned and reactive maintenance at the Castle Donnington site. This hands-on role requires ensuring compliance, 100% on-time completion, and effective communication with customers and colleagues.

The successful candidate will manage PPM schedules, log maintenance data in Mercury, support the AMM with staffing and returns-to-work, and act as the City point of contact for the 3PL.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds 236 Part 1+2 in electrical maintenance
• City and Guilds 18th Edition
• AM2 / 2391 qualification
• 3+ years’ experience in automated hanging systems
• Experience in mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Supervisory skills preferred
• Ability to meet response times and complete PPMs

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise planned and reactive maintenance on site
• Be the first line of contact for maintenance issues
• Support the AMM with staff matters and site rota
• Ensure compliance paperwork is up to date and filed
• Log work in Mercury and monitor open jobs, PPMs and compliance
• Act as City point of contact for the 3PL
• Maintain Health and Safety policy and high repair standards

Job Title: Senior Site Technician

Location: Castle Donnington

Working hour: 40 hours/week, typically Monday - Friday (flexibility required 24/7)

Salary: £46,746.56 per annum + 5% SLA (Inclusive of Standby Payment (1:4 x 13 Periods) + Overtime.

Job Purpose

This is a key position, delivering & supervising the planned and reactive maintenance, while supporting the AMM with customer/colleague communications across a designated site. This is a ‘hands on’ role with at least 50% of your time delivering planned and reactive tasks.

You will be the first line in all maintenance support issues throughout your site. You may be required to request specialist attendance following initial call out.

Support the AMM with key People issues e.g. Return to work interviews, managing the site rota

The purpose of this role is to deliver & supervise technical repairs and PPM’s. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date and filed correctly for you and your team, both manually and electronically.

You will work to closely to monitor open jobs, PPM and compliance to ensure 100% completion on time, including certificate uploads to Mercury.

You will be the City point of contact for the 3PL.

All work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with all Health and Safety legislation. You will ensure all tasks are completed in real time on Mercury and if job cannot be completed in once session you log as returning so data is accurate.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition.
• AM2 / 2391.
• 3+ years’ experience in automated hanging systems / if required at specific site.
• Have a proven track record in mechanical and pneumatic systems / if required at specific site
• Ideally have supervisory skills
• Quality of repairs and maintenance
• Speed and efficiency of work
• Response to service call requests within agreed response times
• Achievement of PPM schedule within agreed timescales
• Maintenance of the Health and Safety policy
