Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - London (City of London)

Location: Central London (Hybrid - 1-2 days per week)

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + benefits

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, availability, and security.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.
• Lead deployment strategies and ensure smooth feature rollouts.
• Define and manage monitoring and logging with tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Datadog.
• Lead incident response and troubleshooting proactively.
• Drive automation with tools like GitLab CI, Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in SRE or DevOps in high-availability, cloud-native environments.
• Strong AWS expertise (EKS, MSK, RDS, VPC, encryption, IAM).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Argo CD in production.
• Knowledge of application security and infrastructure security practices.
• Real-time incident response skills.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, monitoring, and automation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
