Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in the UK is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to improve reliability and scalability of cloud-hosted services. You will drive automation, lead incident response, and collaborate with engineering, platform and product teams to deliver secure data platforms.

The role is hybrid, requiring presence at least two days per week at a site, with locations including Manchester and Edinburgh, and Leeds.

Qualifications

Extensive SRE and service engineering experience.
Strong DevOps and automation mindset across platforms.
Proven経験 with public cloud, especially GCP, in production.
Proficiency with Python, PowerShell or Bash for automation.
Experience implementing IaC using Terraform.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and related tooling.

Responsibilities

Lead operation, reliability, scalability and performance of cloud-hosted apps and services.
Drive automation to reduce manual effort and strengthen resilience.
Partner with engineering, platform and product teams to improve cloud solutions and security data platforms.
Lead incident response, investigations and root-cause analysis with measurable improvements.
Develop observability, monitoring and alerting with actionable insights.
Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and patterns.
