Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL requires a Site Manager for residential construction in Scotland. You will take overall responsibility for day-to-day site management, ensuring safety, programme delivery and high-quality workmanship on a live development.

You will work with a wider project team, subcontractors and senior management to drive effective delivery from pre-construction through to handover, maintaining records and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a Main Contractor.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site operations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Excellent understanding of health & safety requirements.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage programmes, deadlines and competing priorities.
• A strong eye for quality and attention to detail.
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Relevant construction qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the construction site.
• Manage subcontractors, site operatives and suppliers effectively.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Monitor programme progress and identify potential delays or issues.
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure efficient site progression.
• Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Manage materials, deliveries and site logistics.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
• Ensure construction works comply with drawings, specifications and building regulations.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.
• Support the successful handover and completion of projects.
• Provide leadership and direction to the site team.
