Job summary

Wates Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead refurbishment and maintenance projects on site. You will manage day-to-day operations, supervise teams and subcontractors, and ensure health, safety and quality standards are met.

You will build strong relationships with clients, monitor delivery against programme, and collaborate with commercial teams to achieve project success. A strong communicator with leadership skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction, refurbishment, or housing maintenance projects.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer and client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations across refurbishment and maintenance projects.
• Leading and motivating operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers.
