Job summary

CNX Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee a major refurbishment on a public-sector project in Glasgow. You will lead on-site delivery, coordinate trades, manage the programme and ensure quality and safety across works.

Ideal candidate has SMSTS/CSCS and a proven track record in refurbishment with strong leadership and communication skills. This contract role is based on-site in Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in site leadership on refurbishment projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and on-site coordination.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day site management.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, site teams and trades.
• Manage programme and ensure works are delivered safely and to schedule.
• Coordinate refurbishment and construction activities.
• Liaise with Project Manager, QS and project team.
• Ensure works meet quality and specification.
• Oversee health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Monitor progress and report to project team.
• Attend and contribute to site meetings.
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries and site resources.
• Maintain project documentation and site records.
• Identify and resolve issues to maintain programme.
