Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Senior Site Manager for North Scotland to lead major linear civil engineering works across Peterhead and Caithness, coordinating onshore cable route construction and associated infrastructure. The role focuses on safety, quality, programme delivery and stakeholder liaison in a complex energy project.

You will manage multiple fronts along the cable route, oversee subcontractors and internal teams, while maintaining rigorous HSE adherence and client communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary site teams.
• Solid understanding of HSE requirements and CDM regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple fronts along long onshore routes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations from mobilisation to handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure works comply with HSE/CDM and quality standards.
• Monitor progress, risks and opportunities; report to client.
• Maintain programme and drive recovery actions when needed.
