Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Manager for high-end residential projects across Surrey and surrounding southern counties. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, on-program delivery, and top-quality workmanship.

A carpentry background is advantageous, and you will coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and the wider team. The role requires managing high-value projects with strong leadership, safety compliance, and effective

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within high-end residential construction or similar main contracting environment.
• Experience managing high-value construction projects.
• Carpentry background would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing and site management.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple trades.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and site compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations across high-end residential construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site labour to maintain progress against project programmes.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure projects meet the required quality standards.
• Maintain and enforce health and safety procedures across site.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and implement solutions.
• Coordinate material deliveries, resources and site logistics.
• Liaise with Project Managers, clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed correctly.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and relevant project documentation.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to the project team.
