Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is recruiting a Site Manager to lead capital projects in South Wales on a six‑month contract. You will oversee procurement, construction, and commissioning, guiding a team of Project Coordinators and collaborating with operations, design, commercial and supply chain colleagues.

The role demands delivering projects on time, within budget, and in line with NEC contracts, CDM and safety requirements, with a focus on value, risk control, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-value capital projects on time and on budget.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage large project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of capital projects up to 2m in value.
• Develop and manage a team of Project Coordinators.
• Define project scope and engineering solutions.
• Oversee procurement, construction, delivery and commissioning.
• Control project costs under NEC contracts.
• Monitor programmes and mitigate delays or cost pressures.
• Ensure compliance with CDM and Health & Safety rules.
• Identify and manage project risks with proactive plans.
• Collaborate with design, commercial and supply chain teams.
• Support sustainable and cost-efficient project outcomes.
