Job summary

Trevett Project Services is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee refurbishment and new-build projects across South West Wales, initially based near Cardigan with travel to a second West Wales site as required.

You will lead a portfolio valued around £1m–£2m through RIBA Stages 1–7, manage NEC contracts, ensure CDM compliance and health and safety standards, and coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and to budget.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Senior Project Manager / Construction Project Manager.
• Experience delivering projects under NEC contracts.
• Experience across RIBA Stages 1-7.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations.
• Experience with refurbishment and new-build construction.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel between sites in South West Wales.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects through RIBA Stages 1-7, from initial brief and feasibility through design, construction, handover and close-out.
• Deliver a mixture of refurbishment and new-build projects across a live estate.
• Manage projects delivered under NEC contracts, ensuring programme, cost, risk and change are effectively controlled.
• Coordinate consultants, designers, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with CDM Regulations, health & safety requirements and site standards.
• Manage project scope, programme, budget, risk, quality and reporting.
• Lead contractor and supplier meetings and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee construction delivery through commissioning, handover and completion.

Senior Project Manager - Construction

Contract: 6-12 months

Day Rate: £420 per day

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a major organisation operating across a secure estate in South West Wales.

The role will involve managing projects across two sites in the region, with the successful candidate predominantly based near Cardigan initially, with travel to a second West Wales location as required.

You will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of refurbishment and new-build construction projects, typically valued at approximately £1m-£2m, managing schemes throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Strong contractor, consultant and stakeholder management experience.
• Comfortable travelling between sites across South West Wales when required
