Job summary

CPR Recruitment is seeking a Senior Site Manager for a phased hospital fit-out in Maidstone, Kent, starting November 2026 for a minimum 12-month contract. You will oversee the site from the No. 1 position, coordinating trades and ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.

You will manage programme updates, liaise with clients and architects, address design changes, and drive performance to the highest standards across the project. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid are essential.

Qualifications

• SMSTS qualification is required.
• CSCS card is required.
• First Aid certificate is required.
• Experience in hospital refurbishment/fitout projects is essential.
• Experience managing projects around £2M value is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update the build programme on a regular basis.
• Coordinate and book all trades to ensure sequencing remains intact.
• Ensure trades perform to the programme and to the highest standard.
• Order and request materials, fixtures and fittings as needed.
• Liaise with the client, contracts manager and architect on design/site issues.
• Keep on top of design changes requested by the client.
• Deliver the project on budget and on time.

Senior Site Manager – Maidstone, Kent – Phased Hospitial Fitout of an X-Ray Department - Starting Nov 2026 for minimim 12 months

Our client is a main-contractor who specialise in hospital fitouts & refurbishments, and they are looking for a No. 1 Site Manager to deliver a project in Maidstone.

Duties:

• Monitor and update the build programme on a regular basis
• Coordinate/ book all trades
• Ensure trades are performing to program and to highest standard
• Order/ request ordering of materials, fixtures and fittings
• Liaise with the client, contracts manager and architect on any design /site issues that need resolving
• Keep on top of design changes requested by client
• Responsible for delivering the project on budget and on time.

• Previous hospital refurbishment/fitout experience
