Job summary

CPR Recruitment is seeking a Senior Site Manager for a phased hospital fit-out in Maidstone, Kent. The project starts November 2026 and runs for a minimum of 12 months, demanding strong leadership of on-site trades and a focus on schedule, budget, and quality.

You will monitor the build programme, coordinate trades, manage procurement, and resolve design/site issues with the client and architects to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification required.
• CSCS card required.
• First Aid certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update the build programme regularly.
• Coordinate and book all trades, ensuring they meet the program and quality standards.
• Order materials, fixtures and fittings and manage site procurement.
• Liaise with client, contracts manager and architect on design/site issues.
• Manage design changes requested by the client and keep projects on budget and on time.

Senior Site Manager – Maidstone, Kent – Phased Hospitial Fitout of an X-Ray Department - Starting Nov 2026 for minimim 12 months

Our client is a main-contractor who specialise in hospital fitouts & refurbishments, and they are looking for a No. 1 Site Manager to deliver a project in Maidstone.

Duties:

• Monitor and update the build programme on a regular basis
• Coordinate/ book all trades
• Ensure trades are performing to program and to highest standard
• Order/ request ordering of materials, fixtures and fittings
• Liaise with the client, contracts manager and architect on any design /site issues that need resolving
• Keep on top of design changes requested by client
• Responsible for delivering the project on budget and on time.

Skills/ Qualifications required:

• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid Certificate
• Previous hospital refurbishment/fitout experience
• Previous experience managing projects circa £2M
