Job summary

Smart 4 EPC is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of construction activities on a major data centre project. You will focus on safety, programme, quality, subcontractor management and successful project delivery.

The role requires proven senior site management experience on large projects, with strong leadership and communication capabilities to coordinate multiple trades and interface with clients and engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on major construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Data centre / mission-critical infrastructure experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors and construction activities.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Coordinate multiple trades and manage construction interfaces.
• Monitor progress and drive programme performance.
• Manage site logistics, sequencing and short-term planning.
• Ensure RAMS, permits, inspections and quality documentation are maintained.
• Identify and resolve technical, programme and site issues.
• Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, commercial teams and client representatives.
• Support testing, commissioning and final handover.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of construction activities on a major data centre project. The role will focus on safety, programme, quality, subcontractor management and successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on major construction projects.
• Data centre, mission-critical, infrastructure or complex MEP experience highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality and construction management.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and work packages.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• SMSTS and relevant site management qualifications.
• CSCS or equivalent.
