Job Title: Senior Site Manager

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester

Salary: £300 - £350 per day, depending on experience

Sector: Modular (MMC)

Overview

Are you a senior site manager with experience in the supply and installation of offsite construction systems? Are you seeking a 3-month (approx.) contract role with a growing business?

Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee the project, acting as the lead Senior Site Manager on a £1.5 million project.
2. Manage up to 30 operatives (mix of trades) to ensure project delivery is safe, on time, and within budget.
3. Ensure all site staff adhere to health and safety procedures.
4. Participate actively in pre-start, progress, and handover meetings.

Candidate Requirements

1. Experience working within the MMC sector as a Senior Site Manager.
2. Hold CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid tickets.
3. Strong knowledge of full turnkey MMC projects.
4. Excellent planning skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and manage on-site programmes.
5. Experience managing subcontractors and site-based labor.
6. Comfortable representing the firm in site progress meetings.
7. Able to start in June 2025.
