Job description

What will I be doing?

This role offers the opportunity to support and oversee activities at our sites that focus on recycling and waste recovery across the area.
Under your leadership, the sites will operate efficiently, with your support in managing daily operations and motivating our teams to perform at their best.
Key responsibilities include monitoring budgets, maximizing revenue, maintaining machinery, and ensuring safety and compliance are prioritized.
You will foster a culture of best practices, motivating staff and aiming for excellence in customer service and profitability.

What are the requirements?

This senior role requires proven experience in managing a waste treatment or production facility, leading and inspiring teams.
Ideally, you will hold a COTC qualification in Treatment and an IOSH Managing Safely certification.
A NEBOSH general certificate is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
You should have a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a drive to complete tasks to high standards.
Additionally, you will need commercial awareness, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and a friendly, approachable manner.
