Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Faringdon is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a school construction/refurbishment project. You will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to the highest safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel, lead toolbox talks, monitor progress and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects.
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programmes.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day site activities from start to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
• Carry out site inspections and maintain high health & safety standards.
• Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor project progress and resolve site issues promptly.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, client, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory regulations.
• Oversee material deliveries and site logistics.
• Oversee quality control and ensure defects are rectified promptly.

About the Role
