The Company

A rapidly-growing, well-respected Main Contractor operating from a network of regional offices throughout the UK. The business has built a fantastic reputation within the industry and is now looking to recruit a Senior Site Manager to work with the site-based delivery team on upcoming projects. Ideally, they seek someone with a new build construction background and experience managing M&E packages.

They have established their reputation by delivering a personalized service, adapting their approach to each client. This strategy has enabled them to grow annually and strengthen their industry presence.

Operating across multiple sectors, their projects include Commercial, Industrial, Retail, and Mixed-Use schemes, with project values ranging from 10m to 50m.

The Role

The role is part of the site management team, focusing on ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will assist the Project Manager in managing daily site operations and all subcontractors. Typical responsibilities include:

• Focus on M&E Packages, including daily management of M&E subcontractors.
• Ensure project deadlines are met according to the program.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to understand and adhere to the project schedule.
• Ensure all operations comply with health and safety standards, reviewing method statements and risk assessments, and completing checklists.
• Assist with toolbox talks, health & safety training, site inductions, and training sessions.
• Maintain high standards of quality in all work performed.
• Assess work quality at various stages of the project.
