Senior Site Manager / Project Manager
Location: Enfield
Salary: £50,000 basic | OTE £80,000+
Type: Permanent

About the Role

Hill McGlynn is working with a reputable construction company seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to lead projects in and around Enfield. This role offers the opportunity to manage a variety of projects, with a focus on delivering quality work on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tendering for small projects and managing them from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leading and managing construction projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
2. Tendering and securing small projects, including preparing and reviewing bids.
3. Planning and coordinating site activities, resources, and subcontractors.
4. Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained across sites.
5. Managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
6. Overseeing procurement, quality control, and project documentation.
7. Mentoring site teams and liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager, particularly with small-scale projects.
• Strong tendering experience for small jobs, including preparing bids and negotiations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Good understanding of construction processes, health & safety, and quality standards.
• Relevant qualifications in Construction, Site Management, or a related field.
