We re recruiting on behalf of a respected Tier 1 construction contractor, seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to support the delivery of a complex, high-profile project in Edinburgh.

Role Overview:

As Senior Site Manager, you ll lead key works packages through the project lifecycle, ensuring all activity is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with design and specification.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring alignment with programme timelines
  
• Maintaining high health and safety standards through proactive site management
  
• Overseeing quality assurance and compliance with building regulations
  
• Leading and supporting site teams and subcontractors to achieve project goals
  
• Monitoring progress, reporting to senior management, and addressing challenges as they arise
  
• Coordinating site logistics and managing resources effectively
  
• Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

• Proven experience managing major construction projects with a Tier 1 main contractor
  
• A strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and compliance
  
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certifications
  
• Clear communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work independently
