Job summary

Keepmoat Limited is seeking a Senior Site Manager for its Yorkshire East Region. The role will be based at one of our sites in Hull, Hornsea, Driffield or Bridlington, and will lead day-to-day site activities to deliver against programme and budget.

You will manage the site team, including subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and cost targets are achieved. The ideal candidate will have volume housebuilder experience, up-to-date health and safety knowledge, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience managing sites for a volume housebuilder.
• Up-to-date knowledge of building and health & safety legislation.
• Clerk of Works, Buildings or NHBC inspection roles are essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and control day-to-day site activities to meet or exceed the programme.
• Oversee production, quality, cost control and company care on site.
• Lead and motivate the site team and subcontractors.
• Recruit suitable people into the business when required.
• Ensure work complies with company policies and safety standards.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to join our thriving Yorkshire East Region. Depending on the location of the successful candidate, the Senior Site Manager will be based at one of our sites within Hull, Hornsea, Driffield or Bridlington. With a strong pipeline of secured land, it’s an exciting time to join Keepmoat.

The successful candidate will safely and profitably plan, manage, and control the day-to-day site activities on site to our meet/exceed programme, in accordance with company policies and procedures, within the budgeted cost plan.

The Senior Site Manager will oversee all areas of the development; including Production, Quality, Cost Control and Company Care, to ensure that it is both profitable and customer focused.

They will also lead and motivate the site team (both direct employees and subcontractors) to achieve the required objectives and fulfil their potential, as well as recruiting the right people into the business where required.

Please note, we have one Senior Site Manager vacancy in our Yorkshire East Region but will consider candidates within all areas.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with demonstratable experience working for a volume housebuilder.

Up to date relevant knowledge of building and health and safety legislation, along with Clerk of Works, Buildings or NHBC inspection roles are essential requirements for this position.

A full UK driving licence is also required.
