Job summary

Octavius Infrastructure is recruiting a Site Agent to lead the A29 Barnham Realignment project. You will take overall responsibility for site delivery, oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate resources and lead engineers and subcontractors to deliver safely, on programme and to high quality standards.

You will own planning and programming works, review delivery strategies, and manage traffic-sensitive activities while ensuring minimal disruption to the local community and delivering strong

Qualifications

• Senior Site Agent with a strong civil engineering/highways background.
• Experience leading site teams and coordinating multiple workstreams or packages.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts, HSEQ standards and quality processes.
• CSCS Manager card and SMSTS certification are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for site delivery from start to completion.
• Lead Engineers and subcontractors, coordinate resources and maintain relationships with authorities.
• Plan and program works, review delivery strategies and manage traffic-sensitive activities.
• Ensure safety, programme adherence and high quality standards.
• Drive performance across safety, quality and commercial outcomes.
