Job summary

Luddon Construction Limited in the UK is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to lead engineering delivery across multiple civil projects, with a focus on water sector works and large-scale infrastructure in Lancashire and the North. You will verify setting out, manage ITPs, and coordinate temporary works.

The role requires a strong background in civil engineering, NEC contracts, CSCS, and a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
• Temporary Works Coordinator qualification.
• Extensive site engineering experience on civil projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Experience with NEC contracts.
• Full UK Driving Licence and CSCS Card.
• Experience with water/utilities projects and NEC contracts.
• Membership of a relevant professional institution (ICE/CIHT).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery across multiple civil projects.
• Verify setting out and control to project tolerances.
• Manage ITPs and temporary works.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Liaise with Principal Contractor, designers, clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain project records and documentation.
• Ensure safety, quality and contractual compliance.
• Procurement support and material take-offs.
