Job summary

PSR Solutions seeks a Senior Engineer for a major main contractor project in Slough. The role focuses on delivering engineering activities safely, on time and to quality standards, coordinating substructure, groundworks and external works with the project team on site.

You will review drawings and RAMS, lead technical delivery, and work closely with the Project Manager, commercial team and design group to drive programme progress and value engineering opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Engineer or Senior Site Engineer on main contractor projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety and Temporary Works.
• Experience coordinating engineers and subcontractors on site.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering activities across the project.
• Support substructure, groundworks and external works delivery.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and wider supply chain.
• Review drawings, RAMS and technical information.
• Resolve technical issues with design team and identify VE opportunities.
• Support programme planning and lookahead milestones.
• Monitor progress and risks to programme, cost and quality.
• Coordinate site activities and ensure engineering requirements are understood.
• Oversee quality, inspections, snagging and project documentation.
• Manage Temporary Works requirements and processes.
• Support utility, infrastructure and external works coordination.
• Maintain accurate as-built and technical records.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor on commercial matters.
• Provide strong technical leadership and visible site presence.
• Promote health, safety and quality culture on site.
