Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer for a growing civil engineering and construction contractor in North East Scotland. The role involves site setting out, surveying, and coordinating with designers, subcontractors, and project managers on substations and steel-framed buildings.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality projects, with travel across the region and a focus on achieving engineering excellence from site

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer or Senior Engineer in civil engineering or construction.
• Experience with substations or steel-framed buildings is highly desirable.
• Proficient with surveying and setting-out equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and valid CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site setting out and surveying using Total Stations, GPS, and other equipment.
• Interpret drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Raise and manage technical queries with project teams.
• Support Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce accurate material take-offs for procurement and maintain site records.
• Coordinate with designers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure delivery and safety.
