Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals seeks a Senior Site Engineer to lead on-site delivery of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage projects across the United Kingdom. You will oversee construction, commissioning, and handover, working closely with the Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of site engineering or construction experience, ideally in renewable energy projects.
• Experience as a Senior Site Engineer, Lead Site Engineer, or equivalent role.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and engineering oversight for on-site delivery from construction through commissioning and handover.
• Lead and coordinate daily site engineering activities across civil, electrical, and mechanical workstreams.
• Act as technical contact for subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders; guide and resolve issues.
