Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Grangemouth is looking for a Lead Engineer to act as the escalation point for a team of engineers and subcontractors, delivering planned maintenance and minor projects safely and efficiently. You will supervise on-site tasks, manage risk assessments, and coordinate with the facilities helpdesk, ensuring CBRE's safety and performance standards are met.

Qualifications

• Preferably time served engineer with recognised technical qualifications.
• Knowledge of building management systems, fire alarm systems, and UPS.
• Proven supervisory experience in maintenance teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance tasks and inspections are executed as per specification and plan.
• Raise notifications/quotes for emerging work from planned maintenance.
• Scope all jobs and produce work packs including risk assessments and safe methods.
• Direct engineers and subcontractors to meet CBRE values and SLAs.
• Host monthly toolbox talks and business updates.
• Conduct site inspections and audits.
• Schedule and complete training and performance appraisals.
• Utilise CBRE IT systems including CAFM.
• Coordinate with FM Helpdesk to meet SLA’s.
• Manage life cycle reports and critical spare lists.
• Provide reports and present analytics and trends.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required.
