Job summary

The Labour Group is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for a leading civil engineering contractor operating nationwide. The role is based in Hampshire, Southampton, with a contract that could extend beyond 36 months.

You will be responsible for setting out, quality checks, inspections, as-builts, and supporting delivery of reinforced concrete structures, pipework and infrastructure, while coordinating with subcontractors and the site team.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil/Engineering and CSCS card.
• Experience in water/wastewater or civil projects.
• Strong setting-out and surveying skills.
• Ability to coordinate with subcontractors and site team.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality checks, inspections and as-builts.
• Set out and support delivery of reinforced concrete structures and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, designers and the site team.
• Ensure safe and compliant construction practices.

TLG Infrastructure are currently recruiting a Senior Site Engineer to work for a leading civil engineering contractor who operate across the country.

For the right person this contract could offer 36+ months work.

Key Requirements

• As Senior Site Engineer you will be responsible for quality checks, inspections, as-builts, setting out and supporting the delivery of reinforced concrete structures, pipework and associated infrastructure
• Degree or equivalent in Civil/Engineering, with relevant CSCS card
• Experience in water/wastewater or civil engineering projects
• Experience with reinforced concrete structures and construction
• Strong setting out and surveying skills
• Experience with deep excavations, cofferdams. temporary works, large drainage pipework would be an advantage
• Confined space experience/training would be an advantage
• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with subcontractors, designers and the site team
