Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a clean water infrastructure project. You will specialise in setting out, surveying, and coordinating temporary works, cofferdams, and pipework installation, ensuring adherence to project specifications.

The role requires strong interpretation of drawings, QA inspections, and producing as-built surveys, with experience on standalone site engineering duties on civil/utility projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Engineer on civil or utility projects.
• Valid CSCS and Blue EUSR card.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with cofferdams and backfilling operations.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying for cofferdam construction and temporary works.
• Overseeing installation of clean water pipework per project specifications.
• Managing setting out and quality control for backfilling operations.

• Overseeing the installation of clean water pipework in accordance with project specifications.
• Managing setting out and quality control for backfilling operations.
• Carrying out quality assurance inspections and ensuring works comply with design requirements.
• Producing accurate as-built surveys and maintaining site records.
• Interpreting technical drawings and coordinating engineering activities with the site team.
• Previous experience working as a standalone Site Engineer on civil engineering or utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of clean water pipeline installation, cofferdams, and backfilling operations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using surveying equipment and producing as-built surveys.
• Valid CSCS aswell as a Blue EUSR card.
