Qualifications

• Minimum 6 ans d'expérience post-diplôme.
• Expérience de la mise en place de structures d'une valeur de plus de 10m £.
• Connaissance des règlements de santé et sécurité actuels.

Responsibilities

• Soutenir le Site Manager dans les opérations quotidiennes.
• Agir en tant que conseiller technique principal sur le site.
• Maintenir des enregistrements détaillés des inspections QA.

Job Description: Senior Engineer

Location: Central London

On behalf of my client, I am recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to work on a £100M Student accommodation project in Central London.

Responsibilities as Site Engineer include:

• Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations as required.
• Acting as the main technical adviser on site for specialist subcontractors, including groundworks and concrete frame contractor.
• Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site; QA, temporary works checks, temporary works co–ordination.
• Checking plans, drawings, and setting out co–ordination.
• Prior knowledge of calling off reinforcement from schedules and ability to read reinforcement drawings.
• Maintaining detailed records of QA inspections on a daily/weekly basis.
• Ensuring all materials used and work performed meet specifications.

Requirements:

• A Degree / HND in engineering or relevant discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years postgraduate experience.
• Previous experience of setting out structures valued at £10m+.
• Experience in calling off reinforcement and reading reinforcement drawings.
• Operational knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a drive to achieve results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Flexible regarding site location within the UK & Ireland.
