Job summary

Our client in Birmingham is seeking a Senior SIEM Engineer to support a large-scale security monitoring platform. You will develop and optimise SIEM solutions, build log ingestion pipelines and enhance threat detection, alerts and dashboards.

This role involves platform automation, performance tuning and close collaboration with Security Operations teams. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with ELK, Kafka, Kubernetes and scripting to drive proactive security outcomes in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Extensive SIEM and security monitoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana.
• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes and scripting/automation.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD or GitLab CI/CD.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
