Witherslack Group is recruiting a Residential Support Worker to join our care teams in our children's homes. You’ll support young people day to day, helping them cope with social, emotional and mental health needs and celebrate the small victories with them.

You’ll start by joining our Care Academy with a four‑week induction, work up to deputising for Team Leaders when needed, and enjoy a role that offers meaningful progression, 7 weeks holiday and a benefits package designed around wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Support young people day to day in children’s homes, helping them cope with social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Ensure the home runs smoothly, provide leadership to staff, and deputise for Team Leaders when required.
• Build relationships with young people in a compassionate, emotionally resilient and supportive manner.
