Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Residential Support Worker to join our Children’s Homes across the UK. You’ll support young people daily, help run the home smoothly and deputise for Team Leaders when needed.

Starting with a 4-week Care Academy, you’ll develop compassion, resilience and build relationships. The role offers a base salary £36,231–£40,640 with up to 4 paid sleep-ins per month and generous holiday, pension and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we’ll pay for you to study and support you every step of the way.
• You’ll start life as a RSW by joining our ‘Care Academy’ – 4 weeks of off the job training.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be part of taking care of our young people day to day, ensuring things run smoothly and creating lasting memories.
• As a shift leader you will also support the staff team and ensure the home operates to high standards, deputising for Team Leaders.
